Gannicus lifted an eyebrow at the people propositioning them. He still had one hand holding Krem's jaw - he'd been kissing him and quite content to do so when someone had cleared their voice at him. His other hand may or may not have been firmly planted on Krem's ass.

He was only momentarily annoyed to be interrupted before realizing exactly what they wanted. A man and woman, as far as he could tell, both offering interest, asking if he and Krem would like to join them. He couldn't tell if they were a couple and he wondered if it even mattered.

He brushed his thumb over Krem's cheek and looked at him.

"What do you think?" He nodded towards them as he asked but kept his eyes on Krem.

Gannicus huffed a breathless laugh and smacked Krem's thigh. "You said fuck you well, not long." He grinned and leaned over him for a kiss. "As if I have not been fucking all night."

He kissed Krem again, teasing, then collapsed next to him to catch his breath. "Are you not satisfied?" He lifted an eyebrow.

"I'll be sure to be more specific next time," Krem said, still shivering in his aftermath. He nudged Gannicus with his foot again, even despite the kiss, and a third time when Gannicus collapsed beside him.

"I am very satisfied, for the moment. But a little longevity would be nice."

Gannicus rolled his eyes, smile lingering. "I will bear that in mind when desire next stirs." He knew he had it in him, and setting mind toward purpose would not be difficult, even if Krem tempted him beyond reason.

He pulled Krem closer to him, wrapping him up for another kiss. "Stay tonight," he murmured between light kisses.

Krem let himself be pulled in, shuffling his hips back across the bed until he was held close and it was easy to tuck in for more lazy kisses. The bed felt warm and safe. Krem was fairly certain he had leaves or something in his hair. He nodded his ascent.

"I need a shower," he murmured. "And I'll have to be up early for work tomorrow--today? What time is it?"

"No idea," he laughed. He didn't even bother turning to look at the clock on his nightstand; his own alarm was already set. He kissed Krem's neck.

"I will be up early as well," he lamented. "Shower now or in the morning?"

"Now," Krem said softly, though he was loathe to try and leverage himself out of the confines of Gannicus's bed. "I'm covered in come and there's leaves and dirt in my hair. Plus, it will mean getting to sleep a few minutes later."

He ached, pleasantly, in his hips. Moving was a travesty, but he managed it, and pulled Gannicus along with him. On their way to the bedroom, he caught Gannicus in a soft, filthy kiss. "Thank you."

Gannicus groaned, but he followed Krem out of bed, because it seemed a good idea and Krem was tugging at him anyway. He leaned, humming into the kiss. Perfect. "Gratitude," he echoed.

He squeezed Krem's ass, then pushed him into the bathroom. "What time do you have to wake?"

The gentle pushiness of the gesture sparked in Krem more than it probably should have, given that they'd been fooling around for--well, they'd been working toward it, and actively doing it, since Gannicus carried him off to the orgy. Krem couldn't help it though.

He slid into the shower, angling the head away as he got the temperature how he wanted. "My alarm is set for quarter to five. I'm tempted just to stay awake, perhaps; it might be the better option. I've only the gym tomorrow."

Gannicus groaned when Krem reported the appointed hour. He tended to wake at six on days he needed to work early. He didn't know how Krem did it. He joined Krem under the water and wrapped around him.

"I need what sleep can be found. Should hate to lose any fingers." He drummed his fingers down Krem's sides.

Krem leaned back into Gannicus, calm and reassured, comforted by the gentle touch. It settled him, gentled all the rough and ragged edges their fucking had left behind. What a comfort it was, just to be touched and held as he washed away the outward evidence of their debauchery, leaving only the pleasant ache in his hips.

"I can stay on the couch, so you can rest," Krem offered, though he was fairly certain Gannicus would refuse it. And Krem preferred it that way as well. He could lie still and catch what sleep he could.

"I would have you in bed," he answered, brushing kisses across Krem's shoulder, chasing drops of water. "I do not know how you do so much with so little sleep, carissime." He said it with admiration, and with awe. Gannicus could sleep like it was his job.

"Coffee," Krem said dryly. Gannicus's mouth with a temptation that Krem did not ask for, not when they were trying to wind down now. "I've always been restless. I am better with someone beside me. Fewer nightmares."

He reached back for Gannicus's hip and pressed back to him, fitting his ass to the cradle of hips.

He tightened his arms around Krem, holding him close as he hooked his chin over his shoulder. "I would keep them from you if I could." If company helped, he would offer it whenever Krem wanted or needed it. But he knew even he could not take them from Krem's mind.

"They've been less, in the past few months." Krem didn't delude himself, any more, that he was healed of loss and fear and upset. But the nightmares were no longer riddled with memories. They were more abstract, and easier to tell himself they were only dreams.

He turned his head and tilted slightly to catch Gannicus's mouth. "And good company has been a boon."

"More than you know." He brushed his thumb over Krem's cheek and kissed him again.

Perhaps they came from different places, different lives, but there were threads that were similar enough that he felt less alone with Krem.

Krem smiled against Gannicus's mouth, full of warmth and tenderness, contentment. Something resolved in Krem's chest, rather dangerously. There were words, thick on his tongue and the back of his throat, and he tucked them away in his ribcage. They could live there forever, if they wanted, incapable of harming anything.

The water temperature shifted, abruptly, from warm to frigid, and Krem yelped as it hit his skin. He laughed. "Alright. Alright, I think the shower is over."

Gannicus spun them, attempting to save Krem from some of the cold as turned the water off. This was not the first time he'd been rudely interrupted by cold water. He grinned and gave Krem an apologetic kiss, then nudged him out of the shower so they could dry off.

"First time that happened, I may have fallen asleep in there and faced rude, cold awakening."

"It's happened to me a few times as well," Krem admitted with a laugh. He stepped out of the shower and found Gannicus's towels, pressing one to him as he briskly dried himself. There seemed no point in dressing at this point, if they were just going to tumble into bed for some brief sleep. A glance at Gannicus's alarm clock proved it was not as late as Krem had suspected, but all their tumbling weighed on him deliciously. He suspected he'd sleep a while at least.

After dying himself off, Gannicus combed his fingers through his hair, loosening any tangles. He would run a comb through it in the morning before work. Right now, his only interest was in collapsing into bed and aggressively cuddling Krem.

He pulled him close to kiss his mouth, his brow. "Kick me when you wake for work," he murmured. He would at least see Krem to the door, and he might possibly be able to make coffee or breakfast.

Krem smiled and settled in against Gannicus's body, dragging his arms around him and tucking himself in against the taller man, feeling comfortably content with the way his evening had gone and to be invited to stay. He lingered each and every kiss, until they faded to nothing but lazy, sleepy nuzzling.
