"You're sure?" Krem kissed Gannicus again and pressed in closer, until he could push Gannicus onto his back and climb across his lap. He settled, warm and heavy and reassuring, their naked bodies close together.
"Only a day in the hospital," he said, kissing over Gannicus's cheeks and down to his jaw, his neck. "Then a week abed, then several weeks with minimal movement and work. I'm going to go mad."
